Therefore, today we want to highlight the arrival of the latest version of Venus OS: v3.50, an update that marks a before and after in the management of home, marine and industrial solar systems.

• New user interface: state-of-the-art design and functionality: One of the most outstanding features of this version is its new graphical interface, which offers a modern design and a smoother and faster user experience. Navigation is now more intuitive, making it easier to monitor and control systems. This change represents a significant improvement for installers and end users, ensuring efficient management of PV systems.
• Enhanced security for peace of mind: Security is critical in any power system, and Venus OS v3.50 has enhanced its local network security profile by adding HTTPS to the Remote Console and consolidating settings into a single "Network Security" profile. In addition, password protection for third-party integrations, such as Home Assistant and Node-RED, now provides an additional layer of security. For VRM users, this release simplifies remote access and control of the system, allowing full connection, read-only or full disconnection options.
• Advanced generator integration and battery optimization: Version v3.50 expands support to five new generator controllers and optimizes automatic generator start/stop in a variety of environments. This includes support for DC generators, such as Hatz and Fischer Panda, providing more accurate runtime reporting. For battery management, this release includes improved handling of Pylontech batteries with unbalanced cells and new automatic configurations for batteries from brands such as Leoch, Pytes and ZYC. This ensures greater durability and efficiency in battery management.
• Expanded marine compatibility: Users in marine environments will benefit from compatibility with the ARGO Zeus Alternator controller and the inclusion of Safiery STAR-tank sensors for tank monitoring via Bluetooth. In addition, the new interface allows the total available water or fuel to be displayed by adding multiple tanks, optimizing resource control on boats and yachts.
• Node-RED and new features for Dynamic ESS: For Node-RED enthusiasts, Venus OS v3.50 allows resetting the GX device to its factory settings, making it easier to start new projects without the need for physical access to the equipment. This version also brings node enhancements for Dynamic ESS, Peak Clipping, VRM and generator control, allowing for more advanced system customization and automation.
